Post Re: The Borrowers

Speaking of comics and Buffy...I've borrowed from the BPL and have or will reread Angel: After the Fall v.1 (#1-5) and BtVS: No Future for You (#6-10). If I've read further than that in either one, I've forgotten, so I'd like to pick up reading them again from there. Katie...?

I've got single issues for the whole series up through the current one (and a new one is out next week), so, sure. Well, Autumn & Mike do as well. :)

I don't, actually. I've been keeping up but haven't been collecting single issues.

I'm current with Buffy Season 8. I stopped Angel: After the Fall after Issue 18 or 19 because the art sucked and I hated what they did to the series that made the previous 17 or 18 issues pretty much meaningless crap in my opinion.

Seconded. The first 'main' storyline is somewhat interesting, but after that I also stopped (it's very obvious when that storyline is over).

Does anyone have a copy of Tron I could borrow? Either VHS or (non-BluRay) DVD would be fine; after seeing the Tron: Legacy trailer I'm kind of interested in seeing the original, but based on the queue on Blockbuster.com, a lot of people had the same idea.

On a similar note, does anyone happen to have a copy of The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson?

Netflix has Doctor Who available to watch online, so I finally got around to watching the first couple eps of it. (I love seeing what this show is like with a real budget! :gleam: ) However, I don't have the greatest connection for streaming, and I have the bare minimum plan (which doesn't include unlimited viewing), so I was wondering if one of you would be willing to loan me Season One (and maybe Two?) on DVD?

I've got the first series on DVD, got them as gifts. But that's all I've got. I can give them to you the next time we play or to Erica if we play D&D before then.

I think Mike's the only one of us who actually has the DVDs...British import DVDs are wicked expensive. :)
