Post Thumb-Twiddling: The Next Generation
Since it seems like the Avengers Assemble thread is drifting more into site news and such, I figure I'll start a separate useless time-waster thread to keep that one clear of nonsense. So! On with the nonsense:

Now you, too, can dress like a Romulan.

Heehee.

Hm. Last night the links would open in new tabs for me, but this time not so much. :/

Oh! I know what the problem is there. I'll have to do some tinkering on that front when I get home. In the meantime I just suggest right-clicking and opening in new tabs.

Why? I'll tell you why, it's a commentary on our reliance on technoogy, man. So, we're all gonna be cyborgs, plugged in from before we're born, man! It's a conspiracy, man!

The Supernatural RPG book is now officially on sale, and not just pre-order. :)

Yeah, reportedly they had it at GenCon. Woo-hoo! I may wait a bit to get it, though.

I'm ordering it now. :) Shipping cost is a bit steep for my tastes, but...ah well.

You could probably just go to Pandemonium, you know. No shipping, and if you have a store membership, it counts toward leveling up!

Ah, sorry. :( Heh, you could go to Pandemonium to buy a copy for a friend? ;) Wait, no, that doesn't help.

In other news, both ironic and ignorant, you can buy your dog a Michael Vick jersey.

*facepalm*

Cool! I, on the other hand, will not be getting that Cortex book. It does look cool though and will probably be fun to play. I will be getting the Pathfinder book. IT looks interesting and the D&D game I'm in may take a few things form their and incorporate them into that game.

Yeah, I looked at Pathfinder in Pandemonium when I picked up Adventurer's Vault 2, but the fifty-dollar price tag put me off. Sure, my set of D&D corebooks cost me more than that, but...still.

In other news, guys, I think we're going to have to go to Minneapolis.

And now you can have your very own tricorder.

Okay, those are WAY cooler than the 'Tricorder Mark I' they were selling a few years back, even if the Mk. I actually had 'sensors'.

Trailer for James Cameron's "Avatar". Not to be confused with The Last Airbender or Do You Wanna Date My!

Looks interesting alright. And very very pretty.

Post Re: Thumb-Twiddling: The Next Generation
So the company's trying to get rid of its remaining stores of promotional/employee t-shirts and we might have another round of giveaways in the office. If that happens, does anyone want a DDO or LOTRO shirt? The only sizes we had last time I went through were Large, XL and XXL, and it's possible that one style or the other won't have some of those sizes if they bring us back in. (I already picked up a ladies' tee and an XXL tee to use as a sleep shirt.)

Again, no guarantee, but I figured I'd ask ahead of time in case I am able to grab some for you guys.

EDIT: The DDO shirts are promos from our last big release, when we added monks, so they've got a monk on the front and the DDO logo and 'Deal Death With The Flick of a Wrist' on the back. The LOTRO shirts are Moria promos and have (I think) the Balrog on one side and the gates of Moria on the other, unless I'm mistaken and there are two different styles, in which case it'd probably be the LOTRO logo on the front and the Balrog or gates on the back.

I'm gonna split that last post of mine into a new thread for media stuff, methinks. Also, can we delete our own posts?

And no thanks on the shirt offer.

I may be able to enable that option. I'll see how feasible it is when I get home.
